I take my hat off to you guys that did it with film, it's amazing to think what was accomplished.

Mike there was only a small amount of star trailing.
It was a wide field shot so not too critical.
The plateform worked beautifuly.
Here's a couple of the same image but cropped and zoomed in.
As you can see I picked up the flame area too in the first image !!!
Star trailing under extreme magnificationon in the second image.
Don't forget this was taken with a 24mm lens.
