Flame & Horse ED80
I was on my drive way giving auto guiding a go for my very first time on my travell set up EQ6 Skyscan.....I had some success for the very first time using guidedog....wahooo
I dont have to much success using the ED80 for imaging in light poluted Brisbane and find the C11 200% better in most cases...I do find however the ED80 thrives for imaging at dark sites...so I cant wait for Lostock.
I have never been happy with the images from the ED80 in Brisbane and adding the fact it is one of the more difficult targets to image I have done so far.
Here it is.
20 x 6 minute exposure's at ISO 800 using the UHC-S filter On ED80 EQ6 Skyscan.
Total exposure time 2 hours.
Had to darken the image too much otherwise it was way to noisy for me.
Very noisey...could my exposure's be too long for Brisbane..no darks or flats...thats Itchy's primary job to teach me at Lostock....lol
On the other hand I was very happy with the guiding through the Zenithstar 80 480mm.....It stayed on the mark for over 3 hours....then the wife sayed pack it up....I'm tired....I said yes boss...lol
