I tried out my new Thousand Oaks solar filter with my SLR lenses this afternoon (so many sunspots!), but the clouds kept getting in the way.
I decided to go with the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" mentality and shoot another sunset time lapse.
Blue skies, golden sun, rolling purple clouds... beautiful!

Technical details: 470 frames captured at 1 second intervals from 5:39 pm until 5:47 pm, using a Canon 5DmkII with TC-80N3 timer and 14 mm f/2.8L II in Av mode at f/8, ISO 100, EC 0.
