Did my upgrade and it took 1hr and the phone thought it was a new one (thanks goodness I didn't pull the pin when the white apple logo came on!), answered all the questions; including giving the iCloud a miss totally (besides we amateur astronomers don't need clouds do we?
) becz I don't trust my data on someone's server with me having zilch control over it - and everything restored fine and worked right away
