I restarted into Amateur Rocketry over here about a year before I got back into Astronomy. Was building motors but the explosions in my back yard upset the neighbours. Had a couple of CATO's on the test rig. Kind of nerve shattering when bits fall out of the sky and large clouds of white smoke drift around. Still got umpteen kilos of Potassium Nitrate downstairs in the garage. It's being used as fertiliser now instead, should last a while.
Then I bought my first scope ....... much quieter. Neighbours are much happier...
