the 618 is a really sensitive camera.I shoot 1/91s at 60 fps with my c11 and still get a good histogram.I did use it with my c8 and was shooting at 1/38s for r and g and 1/30 for blue channel.I think you have silightly overprocessed the images.You can try despeckle in photoshop to reduce the noise and back off on your wavelet settings.
I think you are also slightly out of focus.I turn the gamma down to 50 -It makes focusing easier.Just dont forget to turn it back to 100 beofre you start recording.
I think the 618 is harder to focus with than the old dmk 21 just becauase the image is brighter and you have more detail
