No calibration data for the shot I took of M8, was going to but with just a short exposure I hadn't planned on actually using the data. When looking at the shots afterwords I was surprised how good they turned out with no form of dark subtraction at all, not even the camera and in light polluted suburbia.
I'm itching for the weather and moon to get lost so I can finally get a proper chunk of photons with this rig.

Thanks Ken and yes it will be fun and helpful to compare results along with Peter.M who has similar gear too.
I've already been down the photography route.Don't worry it's just another way to stay poor.
Like you I'm about to play with guiding..Oh Joy...more frustration ahead I'm sure.
I've even taken 2 weeks hols from next Monday so the weather better behave for me.
