Everything Jason said! Except, I enjoy 60's music- you know, Diana Ross and all that.
I don't mean to hijack the thread but Susy's comment made me think of a conversation I just had. I was talking to a student who is in her early 20's about some equipment we could use and said "Oh well, money money money..." and she replied "Must be funny in a rich man's word." I asked how she even knew that line, given that Abba could almost be her grandparents (certainly parents). It turns out that Abba are one of her favourite bands and she finds nothing odd about that, especially as all modern music is 'crap'.

Similarly, I was walking through the foyer the other day and some young blokes were sitting around and one was playing music on his laptop - Ziggy and the Spiders. You still see lots of young blokes sporting Led Zep of Black Sabbath T shirts. Yet in the 70's no one of my generation was listening to Benny Goodman or Glen Miller. It's probably due to the availability of music and the fact that these kids grew up listening to their parents music whereas in my day record players and old records just weren't around. I find it nice but still a bit strange.
