Clear Sky Detection for Star Parties
Some of you might be aware of my clear sky detection software that I have written. What most of you wont know is that the past few months I have been working on a portable device that uses my software. This device broadcasts over CB radio, thus enabling a 3km wide area to be alerted once the clouds have cleared away.
Anyhow I am considering deploying this device to IISAC this year, all that will be required is that you have a CB radio of any type ($20 from Jaycar). What I am interested in is how many people would like to use this service?
