Mirror Lock by Bisque
Has anyone used one of these? They are a locking collar that fits over the baffle tube of C14s and similar and essentially locks it in place. The object is to eliminate mirror flop. The costs are that the mirror becomes more or less fixed in the position you choose (it can be changed but it's not a simple process) and also you have to cut either a window or a couple of 1 3/16" holes in the OTA to get access to the locking screws on the collar.
But the question is "do they work".
Anyone had any experience with them?
I'm planning to try to mount my old orange tube C14 on my PMX but only if I can eliminate flop.
