Sorry but while the moon is out it will wash out your sky fairly quickly, if your camera was modded you could apply a hydrogen alpha filter and get around most of the sky glow....
Once moon has set at 1 am I would wait for Orion to rise and target m42 it rises tonight at at 23.48 so should be good.
