Over the last week i've been modifying my focuser and ive so far ended up drilling 2 holes in the slide plate and put 2 ball bearings one front and one toward the back spaced as far apart as possible to try to stop the see sawing and the slide plates only job now is to hold the ball bearings in.Just lucky enough that the ball bearings (i think were 3/16 dia) were perfectsize to take out the slop and with a touch of grease roll along nicely the only problem i had was when putting back the pinnion it forced the problem back a little ,but due to running out of time didnt get a chance to bend the little arms of the spring plate back to ease the tension wich i think should fix it.In the next few days when i get back to it i'll let you know how it went !
