Hi Tony,
Take up a language.
I have been studying French for about 18 months, and in that time have spent almost a month in France, and read about 10 French novels. It has opened up all sorts of new and interesting ideas and experiences for me, I have met lots of interesting people, and have made some memories which will stay with me forever.
This is me in the Loire Valley, in front of Chambord. Bloody amazing!
