Do you perhaps mean "... are there any differences between the new
NLV with the twist out barrel and the older LV"? If so then I believe the answer is no (other than the twist up eye guard). The LVW series are physically larger oculars that offer a wider (65°) apparent field of view than the [N]LV series.
