Very strange, I contacted Apple support and I managed to connect my iPhone to the WiFi at home, I am not sure what happened but it now works and I have all 680 planets.
Thinking a bit maybe the database is downloaded using a different port and maybe Telstra block this port. Highly unlikely but I don't care now it is working
