Graham, has your 10" Newt been modified by reducing the focal length?
I thought that by using these 2" adapters, you wouldn't get focus unless you brought the primary mirror closer to the secondary mirror.
I have ordered one of these for my 6" Newt and had also wondered if it would work on my 14" Dob.
