I think you've tried for a much harder combination than a strandard straight LRGB blend. Hydrogen alpha blending is a real pain in the rear, which has a propensity to mute colours in your image, and, tend reds towards salmon pinks.
Did you get any luminance data, at all? Might be worth going back and grabbing some and replacing the hydrogen alpha component for the time being.
