NGC 6744 also known as
Caldwell 101 is an spiral galaxy about 30 million light years away in the constellation of Pavo. It is considered one of the most Milkyway-like spiral galaxies in our immediate vicinity.
Taken at a Dark site along the Morningtion Peninsula on 20 acres.
15 x 2 minute subs + Master Flat and Dark.
Unguided using an NEQ6pro.
Newtonian 8' astrograph @ F/4
Pentax K-x @ iso 1600.
