More of the backlog from the May Conjunctions.
These were taken at Terrigal, next to the Skillion, on the morning of the 15th of May.
It was a beautiful morning - starting with a (very short)
timelapse, and finishing with some stunning crepuscular rays - all while the planets beamed in the background sky.
My favourite shot of the series (and one that H mentioned previously) is the first "Water Rush" photo. I was perched on a rock avoiding the waves, when a rather large wave crashed through. I captured this shot just as I was getting drenched up to my knees. I love the sense of movement it portrays.
It was shown at the DM awards but didn't receive an award.
The star trails shot is a combination of the shots in timelapse, but I left 1 or 2 out near the end to create the "candle" like appearance. I call it "Conjunction Candles Rising".
