Sorry Paul. I should have been more specific. It's the guide cam tube I'm talking about. It accepts 1.25 inch guide cams and has a male thread on the other end that screws on just above the pick off prism. Not sure what the thread is but I am thinking about hack sawing of about one inch and hot gluing the lot back together as a quick fix instead of using a bunch of spacers for the camera.
