Well, try changing the LR parameters away from their default. The better your original images (i.e. the sharper they are) the smaller the LR radius should be.
So, the default radius is 2, but did you try 1.7 or 1.5 to compare?
Also try changing the number of turns, so try 5 instead of 10.
It's all trial and error, cause the magic values for these parameters depend on the quality of your original.
btw the hard ring-like edge to your reprocessed shot shows that the LR has done too much and added artifacts.
