Just got off the phone to my sister. She was saying she had heard of this but the data at this stage is not a large enough section of the population, and it is only one type of leukemia; not all types (apparently there are several types).
The bottom line though, she said she doubted this would be an overall cure but she would no doubt hear about this at the next conference she attended. So stay tuned. It could be years before we hear about this again. Clinical trials will be the real test.
