The "Microsoft" team finally rang this morning suggesting that my computer needed to be checked for some problem, it's hard to understand those heavy accents at times. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/..../confused2.gif

Beauty now to have some fun with them I thought but they hung up after I told them to hang on while the computer "booted" up. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/..../winking70.gif http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/....evilgrin10.gif
I also had my first Microsoft call this week ( i've been feeling left out )
Funnily enough, the idiot started out by saying there was a problem with the PC i was "using".
I told him i was sitting in front of the telly drinking red wine
which as an opening gambit was good as it was actually the truth.
He then spent a while trying to "get throught to me" that it was the PC i had turned on ( and connected to the net ) that was the problem.
I then told him i have dial up internet, and if i was on a PC that he could "remotely see", then i couldnt be talking to him.
He wasnt bright enough to twig on at this point.
I guess they think everyone has 24/7 net connections these days.
Anyway he persisted until i had to be rather impolite and hang up.
Gotta say it was more fun than the ads on the telly,
or impersonal spam.
