Yeah this is trickie doing it this way. Like Atlas said you need to check visually first. I do check with the toucam afterwards and record for my own records. However at 1040x if the seeing is average your images will look like this. There will be massive distortions in the image just with the air moving. Still You are heading in the right direction. Collimation at high power is the way to go. Especially if you want to do planetary work.
