I remember reading an article about research where they were looking at genetically modifying the polio virus to attack cancerous cells a couple of years ago and thinking that we will have a cure for cancer within a decade or two, and this piece of news is 'a step forward in the right direction' as far as I see it.
It is only a small case study of 3 people with one specific type of cancer, and without long term observation it isn't exactly ready for release today, but it is a step forward and I am more certain than ever that I will see a cure for cancer in my lifetime
