Only one problem with their test. Are they really only looking for other "universes" within their individual particle horizons...basically just other sections of this universe outside of ours. Or are they actually looking for completely separate universes. Seems to me they're just looking for the signatures of those other sections beyond our particle horizon and their impact on the CMB of our little area.
Have to read the paper.
That paper contains Bayesian statistics....this should be interesting.
