Think this one is a male-has blue tail,might be immature.

I used 50D and 400L,late afternoon.

ISO 400
AV 9
distance to bird 3.5 m
Partial metering.
hand held.
AV mode

Some work in PP,but not a huge amount-brightness,contrast,and sharpen.
These low res,versions have lost a bit,I notice now I use layers and flatten.
The files are very large,and look good.

The first is cropped,the second is the size from camera.You thoughts on how I should make a crop,(if needed) welcomed.
