sunspot 1260 sat 30 july

Day 2 of solar imaging.

I caught sunspot 1260 at 11 am this morning. Then captured some proms, then captured sunspot 1261 after its big flare - still processing that. The avi file is tooo large.... (another lesson for me - what do people use to clip/split them?)

Then caught space junk or satellite transiting sunspot 1260 at 4pm. (Single frames showing here - first frame shows satellite directly connecting to sunspot - beginners luck eh). Have been trying for hours to identify it without success. Any suggestions?

All with pst and dmk21au with 2x barlow. Basic registax processing no photoshop.

cheers
Karen
