Gee, I would have thought that at Kurri it would be good. I wonder if its turbulence coming off the nearby mountains and hills.
In the days of film I sometimes went to the Wallaroo State Forest, north of Raymond terrace. Its BLACK there, really dark (its where i first clearly saw the tendrils of the Vela SLR visually through a 16 inch scope we carted there) However, the actual seeing was awful, and there would be sudden warm patches of air, then cold again, so little wonder the seeing there was so bad. Such a pity as it was so dark. Jagging both dark skies and good seeing is a tough ask thats for sure.
