I have an old Sampson mount that has been collecting dust for the past 20 years. It was bought from Astro Optical in the late eighties. I was wondering if anybody knew of some sort of retro drive assembly that would fit on it. The motor and gear box that are on it do not seem to be in great condition.
I would like to get it up and running again. It would only be used for visual Obs, it has a 10" newt to go onto it. It does not have to track perfectly, I will have my PMX for that. (when it comes).

Any help would be great.
