I decided to image vdB159 to add it to my vdB collection, but alas, it too is a dud. But next to it, relatively speaking, is the supernova remnant CTB1. I have never tried imaging this object and now I know why -- it is really really dim!

There is a lot of background noise, but that is because it all has to be stretched to bring it out. The outer rim of CTB1 is not too dim, but I wanted to show more so the data had to be stretched.
