EOS Digital to FD adapter

Some time ago I spotted an EOS to FD canon lens adapter on the web (Ebay). As I have a four FD lenses, (including 50mm F1.8 and 135mm f2.8) which have no resale value, and wanted the same F/L in EF lenses I decided to give this little gadget a try. It has an inbuilt lens to allow correct focus to infinity and a rotating sleeve to stop down or open the lens iris. Metering still works, although it is necessary to stop the lens down first. Focus is manual, as is aperture setting. I have taken a couple of preliminary shots which look good but won't really know what the performance is like until I get some decent weather. The unit cost $50 US including freight, a lot cheaper than a 50mm f1.8 lens. I will report further when I have had a chance to take some sample images.
