David the dome is going between the ROR and the gate giving me a northern horizon I dont have now. I was going to just put the dome on the shed but my kids think i am rich so I decided to spend a bit more of their inheritance on the whiole dome - laugh
Thanks Ken - The detail and DOF are entirely due to your tutorials - I know David Trapp (our newest Leyburn Observatory owner) is using them as well so your trip here wasnt wasted mate. I am having some curved aluminium mountings made to suit the curve of the observatory base (like a little awning) to put a fan on each side. I have also ordered a solar powered exhaust fan for the roof to assist in removing both hot air and and condensation.
The biggest problem is stopping processing - I have 2 newer versions of the image now (much better background RGB stars and more outer shell nebulosity) but I will wait for a while as I want to have a another play with the image tonight.
