I'm trying to fund my first Telescope purchase so i am selling this jules verne circa around 1900.
The wonderful Travels Omnibus
267 page (19.5cm x 13cm x 5cm) hardback book published by
Ward, Lock & Co. Limited circa 1890-1900.
This early Jules Verne omnibus contains:
- Around the World in Eighty Days.
- Five Weeks in a Balloon.
- A Journey into the Interior of the Earth.
Illustrated with plates by Henry Austin.
A copy of this was on ebay a couple of months ago, you can find this listing by typing "wonderful travels omnibus ebay" into google. That one was advertised at 150 British pounds which is roughly $225 aus.
I believe my copy looks to be in better condition than this one (can post pictures if requested). I think $225 was a bit rich, probably why it did not sell. I will ask $100. Or make me an offer and i'll think about it.
