Televue 0.8x Photo Reducer / Flattener

Model TRF-2008 0.8X Reducer/Flattener
* fully multi-coated 3-element unit
* inserts into 2" focuser
* 42mm T-thread

Optimal focal distance is 56mm +/-4mm between rear of unit and imaging plane - this is roughly correct for a standard T-adaptor on a DSLR camera.

As per the Televue documentation, "Whilst optimised for the Televue-85, it has been found quite effective with all doublet or triplet refractors within the 400-600mm focal length range"
* eg. an f7.5 ED80 would be reduced to F/6 and 480mm
* obviously I can't guarantee it will perfectly flatten your scope - do your research on the net and see what others say. Here is a link to someone who has had good results with this reducer and an ED-80

I am selling this as it is surplus to requirements. New from Bintel - $399.

Includes dustcaps, documentation and original packaging.

Price $250 plus shipping.
