Lagoon Nebula M8

Hello,

I am new to this website and to astrophotography. I thought I would share one of my first proper tries at a deep sky target with my new equipment up and running.

25 of June 2011
Canon EOS 1000D
Baader Coma Corrector
10 inch (25cm) F/4 Newtonian Reflector Telescope
NEQ6 PRO Computerised Goto Mount
Orion 80mm ShortTube Guide Scope
Synguider Autoguider
20 X 60 seconds exposures (20 minutes total exposure time)
ISO 800
Images stacked and alligned in Deep Sky Stacker
Final processing in Photoshop Elements 8.0

Please feel free to tell me if you have any comments, queries, suggestions/advice, criticisms. I am here to learn.

Greg
