You bought one AG12 ? That is the brother of the ASA 12". How is it ? If you take M27, i would be very interested by the result. Keep me posted.
I know you've had a bad experience with your old ASA Astrograph, what a pity !
Do you use the CATSEYE tool to collimate your AG12 ?
