as H. said, it's been a great couple of weekends and will be hard to get back to the grind tomorrow. the awards dinner goes so quick and there's never enough time to catch up with people who couldn't be there during the day. kaz and i were sorry not to make it to the dish this morning but i have seen inside during the big event a couple of years ago and we were keen to get the drive to Melb underway (still on the road now)..
well done to all there. for me, i was stoked to get the deep sky award. i was happy just to get an image selected in that category given the very high standard from all. lucky for me you only submit at 2000 pixels as the coma in the top corner was a bit ugly otherwise

mike sid's dragons got a HC and iceman also had several HC images mentioned and shown on the night. some fellow ASV imagers also got HC mentions (well done Bratislav). narrowband does have a wall to climb to catch david's eye but martin pugh showed it can be done!
close to home now.. i just asked kaz if she had anything to add and she said 'you're not a bad bunch.. very friendly'
