Bought in 2004 this Observatory is in good condition. I am moving to a larger unit. It is a home dome – 2.3 metre diameter. The unit has 6 wall segments, with 4 having the locker design increasing internal space enormously. Some of the lockers have home made shelves which are part of the sale.
It has a motorised rotation and a Maxdome computer module. This is powered by a rechargeable battery and solar panel.
The unit breaks down to 6 wall units which can be nested, 2 roof panels [also nest] and the lower opening leaf. The unit is in Nelson Bay, about 100 km north of Newcastle.
