Well, knowing that my new Canon EF 100-400mm L zoom would arrive at my office today, I took the camera. Shortly after it arrived it was on the 500d and out the back where there is some lovely native vegetation and my local Grey Butcherbird ready for one quick shot with my new toy. Cloudy skies and no chance really to get composed, I am quite happy with the photo and very happy with the lens.
Being new to this I am ready to learn and would welcome any advice.
