Thanks for your kind comments. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of detail and nebulosity I achieved from suburban Sydney skies with the moon present. I means I don't have to wait to get away to a dark site to get some decent images.

Doug and Marc, thank you. Your amazing wide field photos using SLR lenses has been an inspiration.

Darrin and Mighty_oz, I used a 15nm Ha filter that clips inside the body of a Canon DSLR. I used an Olympus OM F1.8 50mm lens set at F4. I am finding the 50mm gives a great FOV for constellations.

Darrell, yes, I was also surprised at the quality without Darks. I used DSS and the final image had noise and a lot of amp glow. However, when I imported it into Photoshop and deleted the Green and Blue channels, the amp glow and most of the noise disappeared!
