Jade Eyes

This poor guy had to endure the cold loneliness of ceramic and tiles in a human toilet before being photographed and subsequently relocated outside. I'm not sure if he was being frozen, starved or gassed to death.

Jumping spiders are relatively small (3-20 mm) but most of them are smaller than 10 mm. A lot of these daylight hunters are beautifully coloured. Part of the Salticids family, they generally hunt on or near vegetation.
