I like how you've hooked them up and your kids seems to be having so much fun with them.
I know we tried to convince you to go the dob before you bought the binos, but at the end of the day, you seemed to be having a lot of fun with them all the same. Think of it as a learning curve.. it's often hard to get things right the first time around. We have to start somewhere to know where we want to go. I consider that an important journey of learning. What your binos have taught you is there is more for you out there that you want to explore and you are more confident now of what it is you want. Aye, that's a good thing.
And has brought you much joy as well.
I started out with a 6" scope and never dreamed when I got them I'd be upgrading within 6 months. Astronomy had me well and truly hooked in. But I too had to start somewhere.
