What Grease to use on my Mirror Slides. Grease is the Word

I am wanting to replace the grease on my LX200GP to aid in the reduction of mirror slop. I have all the Peterson Mods on my scope so the slop is not too bad. I am also wanting to improve the slop in a friends ETX125. I just wanted to know what grease is used

I am guessing that somthing like White PTEF Lubricant would be the go. It can withstand temps ranging from -65 to +650 whilst maintaining adhesion. I just want to be sure before applying anything in case I am about to do damage without knowing it. Any advice from those in the know would be great.

The PTEF that I already have is a Star Brite marine formula that I have used in boating applications.

Mardy
