That is very nice! Yes, once the settings are nailed in Registax 6 I can't imagine anyone going back to an earlier version. It does take time & experimentation to find those optimum settings.
Regarding noise: Part of my workflow is to purposely over sharpen, & then hit it with a low percentage gaussian blur mask.
