Looks like I can get a second hand Hyperion 8mm at a fair price. With the sizing rings I already have, I think I will bypass the Barlow now as I have no need and can cover all effective eyepieces sizes down to 4.3mm with both rings attached to the 8mm.
Very happy with my Hyperion 17mm and sizing rings - along with a TMB 6mm planetary (love that also), 30mm GSO Superview 2 inch and a DGM NPB Nebula filter think I'm right for a while!
