I just finished watching the movie, "The God's Must Be Crazy". The last time I saw this was about 20 yrs ago. A funny movie but with really bad acting. In fact, I thought the best actor was the one who couldn't speak english, (the man from the tribe) he was so funny.
And when he spoke, he's language used "click" sounds. Something like.. donk, took took, click click
The movie is centred on an empty coke bottle, boy what that poor coke bottle went through.
It rolled dough, got used as a pestle, to break things open, a weapon etc (someone should have shown them a rock
)until they started fighting over it. Since they never had violence in the tribe before, and figuring enough is enough, the man from the tribe decides to embark on a journey, coke bottle in tow to return said Coke bottle back to the Gods. This involved walking many miles to climb to the top of a mountain high above the clouds where Earth cannot be seen....... and drop it.
In one scene which went on for about 15 mins, he was using a reflector telescope to spy on a group of people. The scene kept cutting into the view through the scope. And guess what? Every time he looked through the eyepiece, the people were the correct way up.
Pretty nifty reflector hah?!
Wish I had one of those.
Seriously but, how silly do they think people are... The movie was made I think in 1980, weren't there many people with reflectors back then that they didn't think would be able to spot the difference.
