Celestron Nova (Vixen) 20x80 Binoculars - price drop

Celestron Nova 20x80 Binoculars.

Made by Vixen. 3.7 degree FOV.

I bought these from an IIS classified last year and find I'm not using them.

See the previous IIS ads for more info about them here and here.

Asking $150.

When I bought them last year, one of the objectives was loose after shipping cross country. I took them to Bintel for service and cleaning. I've only used them a couple of times since.

Included is a pair of new Field Optics eye shields to fit. Also included is the original padded case and objective lens caps.

As you'd expect for a 20+ year old bino, they aren't perfect. One of the original eye shields is separating from the base. There are some lens coating defects. Lots of minor cosmetic issues.

The cosmetic issues aside, the binoculars provide nice, wide field views. They are solidly built and function well. These were made in Japan and are not comparable to the newer, Chinese made Celestrons. I'm selling them only because they're a bit difficult for me to handhold and my 7x50 Novas end up getting used most of the time.
