A seller offered just what I wanted, several emails went back and forth confirming that the item was as originally described, I drove 60km with cash in my pocket to find that the scope was nothing like the description. The seller had seen some words and decided that they looked good - they did - and he used them, not only in the ad but in the confirmation emails.
