EOI: Televue Panoramic mount with SkyTour & extras

Not sure I want to sell this, but thought I'd test the waters...

Televue Panoramic alt-az mount with ash tripod in very good condition.

Also included are:

- SkyTour digital setting circles
- Eyepiece caddy on both sides (one side holds three 1.25" eyepieces and the other side has holes for two 2" eyepieces, with inserts to convert the holes to 1.25")
- SkyTour mounting plate (attaches to the caddy to hold the SkyTour computer in convenient location - you choose which side you prefer)
- Mount handle (attaches to either side to allow easier movement without having to move the scope itself).

The mount can hold up to a 4" refractor. I've been using it with a Megrez 90 (just sold). When balanced properly, the mount glides nicely in alt and az motion, just like a well-made Dobsonian mount.

The setup is light - it can be carried easily with a scope attached.

Now the big question - what is this worth? New it would cost around $1500 in total if ordered from the US. Obviously there are lots of cheap alt-az mounts around these days, but this is a beautiful piece of equipment and, importantly in my opinion, the SkyTour is very nicely integrated and doesn't have that 'bolted on' feel that after-market systems have.

Price-wise I'm looking at $850 plus postage or a straight swap for a HEQ5 Pro in good condition.

Happy to answer any questions or povide additional pictures if required.

Regards

Morton
